Jury Comment
The project is very balanced on all scales and jury categories. The volumes are well proportioned compared to the scale of the surrounding buildings. The square size seems appropriate to the scale of the city. The project is very efficient in the way it uses modular technology to fit its to the specific urban context.
The architectural modest understatement approach might also be qualified as an disadvantage since the philharmonic probably requires a landmark to attract more public.
